Grave Babies, an American rock band formed in 2009 in Seattle, Washington, began as a home recording project by Danny Wahlfeldt. The initial lineup included keyboardist Tyler Robinson and later expanded to include bassist Mitch Saulsberry and drummer Keith Whiteman for live performances. Their debut album Deathface was released on Denmark-based label Skrot Up in 2009. Following the release of their first singles "Gouge Your Eyes Out" (2010) and "Pleasures" (2011), Grave Babies signed with Hardly Art, a Sub Pop-affiliated label, and released Crusher in 2013. The band's subsequent album, Holographic Violence (2015), was recorded at Wahlfeldt's studio on Orcas Island, Washington, and featured drummer Mark Gajadhar and bassist Bryce Brown. After going on hiatus in 2015, Grave Babies reformed in 2019 with new music and live performances expected.
