Neshama Carlebach, born on October 9, 1974, in the United States of America, is an American singer, songwriter, educator, author, and rabbinical student. She began her career as a recording artist under the influence of her father, Shlomo Carlebach. Her debut album, Soul, was released in 1996, marking the start of her musical journey. Over the years, she has released several albums, including Ha Neshama Shel Shlomo (1997), Dancing With My Soul (2000), and Higher & Higher (2009). She has performed worldwide, sung on the Broadway stage, and sold over one million records. In 2016, she was inducted into the Brooklyn Hall of Fame and received a Certificate of Congressional Recognition for her work. Additionally, Neshama Carlebach co-created the Broadway play Soul Doctor.
