Mark McCabe is an Irish music producer and disc jockey born in 1978 in Silverbridge. McCabe achieved professional recognition for a musical career that began in the 1990s presenting a drivetime show on a pirate radio station in Dublin. He achieved professional recognition for signing with the label Twisted Records. His recording career began with the song “Maniac 2000” (2000) which reached Number 1 and became the second biggest-selling record in Ireland. McCabe achieved professional recognition for receiving a Meteor Music Award for the song in 2001. His discography included the song “Love Is in the Air 2001” (2001) which reached number 9 in Ireland. McCabe achieved professional recognition for mixing the opening sequence for events including the Special Olympics in 2003 and the Saint Patrick's Festivals Skyfest in 2005 and 2007. He achieved professional recognition for a remix of the song “Nervous (The Ooh Song)” (2016) which received over 172 million streams and double platinum certification in Ireland Sweden Norway and the Netherlands. His recording career included the song “I'm Feelin It” (2017) with the ensemble Sunset Bros which reached number 24 in the United Kingdom. McCabe achieved professional recognition for collaborating with the musicians James Arthur Gavin James and Ozark Henry. He achieved professional recognition for serving as Head of Music at RTE 2fm.
