Reigning from Nottingham East Midlands, Sharp Class are THE foremost three piece band that are carving out their own path with electric live performances and music that is rooted in their own genuine conscience. Crackling with reflections of The Kinks, The Who, Paul Weller, Secret Affair, The Sex Pistols The Clash just to name a few, Sharp Class, consisting of Oliver Orton (Guitar/Vocals) Declan Mills (Drums) and Lewis Smith (Bass) derive their influences from and merge the illustrious DNA of Punk, 60’s Power Pop, Soul, Rhythm & Blues and British mod culture. All of which is engrained into everything they produce. Just see their newest release Move for the evidence. Formed in 2017 under the name SubCulture, Oliver, Lewis and Declan started gigging relentlessly straight out of the gate, playing pubs, clubs, festivals and music halls that each month grew further and further away from their home town of Nottingham, proving that the word was getting around. A 2 year span saw the trio play over 300 gigs around the UK expanding their fanbase and allowing them to hone in their craft for performing live. In 2018 the band were signed a deal with Heavy Soul!
