Greg Anderson, born on September 28, 1981 in St. Paul, Minnesota, is an American pianist, composer, video producer, and writer. He began piano studies at age seven and attended notable music festivals. He studied at The Juilliard School, earning degrees in Piano Performance in 2004 and 2006, and won the Juilliard Concerto Competition in 2003. His career includes solo performances as a Steinway Artist and collaborations with Elizabeth Joy Roe as Anderson & Roe. Their albums on the Steinway Label, such as When Words Fade and The Art of Bach, topped the Billboard Classical Charts. The duo performed at venues including Carnegie Hall and Kennedy Center, and with orchestras like the San Francisco Symphony. His compositions have been premiered at notable venues and are published by Alfred Music and Awkward Fermata Press.
