El Desván del Duende was a Spanish band from Extremadura, formed in Badajoz in 2002 by José Manuel Díez, Miguel Vivas, Antonio Rumbakey, and Jorge Solana. Their breakthrough came in 2006 with the single "Macetas de colores", chosen as the official song for Cáceres' bid to be the European Capital of Culture. This led to their first album, Eres buena gente, released in 2007, under La Cueva Records. The group's second album, Increíble, pero cierto, was released on September 14, 2009, by BOA Records, followed by their third album, Besos de cabra, on January 17, 2012, under BMG Music and distributed by Sony Music. The band received the national FEDER Award for social work in 2012 and their final tour, Con Cabras y a lo Loco Tour, concluded in 2013. Following this, the group disbanded and continued under the name Diván du Don, excluding vocalist José Manuel Díez who continued as a solo artist.
