Biografia
At only 20 years old, rising Dutch electronic music producer and DJ Justus (a.k.a. Justus Schipper) has proven himself to be a go-getter, having already toured internationally and released on today’s heavy-hitter dance labels. His musical journey into the dance world begins in 2014 at an Afrojack show in Amsterdam. Mesmerized by the energy of it all - the music and crowds dancing in unison - Justus knew this was his path. Diving headfirst into DJing and producing, it wasn’t long before he found his signature sound. His 6 years of drumming experience combined with influences of Avicii, Axwell and Afrojack make up the melody driven, feel-good and energetic sound that you hear from Justus today. Sure enough, his hard work paid off as the next year his tracks were played all around the globe by none other than Afrojack himself! In 2018 Justus launched into tour mode, completing six tours across Asia in a year, including rocking stages at some of the world’s Top 100 Clubs by DJMag. Fast forward to 2020 (Justus’ most ambitious year yet) - where his first record ‘Not Over You’ signed to Armin van Buuren’s leading label, Armada, & a dance cover of Andrea Bocelli’s hit ‘Time To Say Goodbye’ released on Spinnin’ Records. His unofficial remixes of Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now” and Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved,” also put him on the radar of big DJs’ like MORTEN, Lucas & Steve, Sander van Doorn, and W&W. There’s no doubt he’s quickly climbing the ranks-keep an eye on this one!
