Omar Rudberg, born in 1998, is a Stockholm-based singer and actor.
As a 14-year-old, he joined Sweden’s then-biggest boy band, FO&O, who won 3 MTV EMA’s and performed as the opening act for Justin Bieber and One Direction. The band decided to split up in 2017, and just a year later, Omar had launched his solo career. In 2021, Omar debuted as an actor with a leading role in the Netflix series Young Royals. The following year, he also released his long-awaited debut album, “OMR”. With a following of over 5 million on social media, it is clear that he is one of his generation’s most prominent Swedish pop cultural phenomenons.
