The Kyiv Chamber Choir was founded in December 1990 by conductor Mykola Hobdych in Kyiv, Ukraine. The choir has performed thousands of concerts across at least 21 countries and released over 40 compact disks, many featuring compositions recorded for the first time. Notable albums include У Неділю На Весіллі (1995) and Шедеври Українського Хорового Барокко (1996). The choir has performed at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, the National Cathedral, and the White House. Their repertoire spans classical compositions and works by Ukrainian composers like Mykola Lysenko and Mykola Leontovych. The choir has also won in various international choral competitions, including first prizes in the 1st Schumann International Choral Competition in Zwickau and the 12th International Competition of Choir Music in Poland.
