Diego Case dreamed of writing music for films when he was sixteen and had inebriate visions with his mates and teacher of musicology. He became an architect though, travelled the world, touching life with his hands -or that he thought. Along his way, he never stopped listening to his changing surroundings, absorbing and transforming them into melodies and lyrics in his head.
He writes songs from his mother´s empty attic, on one-way flights, in the tiny walking closet of his apartment while everyone sleeps. Atmospheric narratives that explore a variety of sounds, always with a clear presence of classic piano expanded with modern effects, a blend of classical instruments with synthesizers, creating sonic impressions on which to portray flowing melodies.
Multi-instrumentalist with classical education and interest in jazz music, he can reach high levels of joy with positive indie rock with very melodic lines and deep post-rock sound. His first official band was the pop-rock band Cracklebox based in Hong Kong where he was keyboardist and composer. Currently, he is keyboardist in the Spanish indie rock band Los Flamingos.
