Zahna

Zahna (born Susana “Suzy” Martinez Madsen) is a Mexican-born American Christian hard rock singer and songwriter who first gained attention as the lead vocalist of Ilia before launching a solo career. Born in Mexico, she moved to the United States at a young age and later built a music career blending heavy rock with themes of faith, struggle, and perseverance, influenced in part by her experience with serious kidney disease and a 2019 transplant. As a solo artist, she has released the albums Red for War (2018) and Stronger Than Death (2023), along with earlier work such as the EP Issue 1 (2011), and is known for notable singles including “Violet Boots,” “I’m Sorry,” “Erase,” “Prayers in the Dark,” and “Defiler.”
