Xdinary Heroes is a South Korean rock band comprising Gunil (leader, drums, vocals), Jungsu (vocals, keyboard), Gaon (rap, vocals, guitar), O.de (rap, vocals, synthesizer, keyboard), Jun Han (guitar, vocals) and Jooyeon (vocals, bass). The band made their official debut on December 6, 2021 with the single "Happy Death Day" securing the number 12 position on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales and garnering them two MAMA awards for Best Band Performance and Best New Male Artist. Their first extended play, Hello, World! appeared on July 20 and attracted international attention, not only charting at number 4 in Korea but at number 30 on the Polish charts. The group continued to gain traction with their follow-up EP, Overload, which debuted at number 14 on the Billboard World Albums Chart. On March 31, 2023, Xdinary Heroes announced an album showcase for their highly anticipated album, Deadlock, which was released on April 26, 2023 and propelled them into the top 10, with lead single "Freakin' Bad" charting at number 33.
