Philippe Rombi

A musician trained at the Marseille Conservatoire, Philippe Rombi (b. 1968) turned to composing film scores, a genre in which he has enjoyed multiple successes with François Ozon (from Amants criminels in 1999 to Jeune & jolie in 2013, including Sous le sable in 2000 and Swimming Pool in 2003), Christian Arion(Joyeux Noël) and Dany Boon for Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis in 2008. After this contribution to the most popular film in French cinema history, the composer continued his collaboration with Dany Boon on Rien à déclarer (2010). In 2013, his score for François Ozon's Dans la maison was nominated for a César. In 2014, he signed the score for Asterix: The Domain of the Gods.
