NANO

Born Hana Ishiyama Ohara (12 July 1988 in New York City), the bilingual Japanese-American singer and lyricist known as Nano (ナノ, stylised as nano) began posting cover songs on YouTube and the Japanese video-sharing site Niconico before she was discovered and signed by Japanese major label Flying Dog. She released her debut album Nanoir in 2012 and went on to write the music for a number of anime series including "Bull's Eye" for Hidan no Aria, "Now or Never" for Phi Brain: Puzzle of God, No Pain, No Game and "Exist" for Btoom!, "Savior of Song" (feat. My First Story) for Arpeggio of Blue Steel. She has continued to put out studio albums at a consistent rate, from 2013's N to 2021's Anthesis. 2023 saw the release of the double-album Noixe.
