Kudai is a Chilean pop‑rock group formed in 1999 in Santiago by Bárbara Sepúlveda, Tomás Manzi, Nicole Natalino and Pablo Holman, who originally performed as the child band Ciao. The group rebranded as Kudai in 2003, adopting a teenage‑oriented image and a new musical direction under producer Gustavo Pinochet. Their breakthrough came with the single "Sin despertar" from the debut album Vuelo (2005), which entered the Chilean charts and earned a platinum certification; the album was also released in several Latin American countries and led to a signing with EMI. Subsequent releases-Sobrevive (2006), Plug & Play (2007), Nadha (2008), and the compilation Grandes Éxitos (2010)-maintained commercial presence, with Nadha earning MTV Latin America awards for Best Pop Artist and Best Group. After a hiatus announced in 2009 and confirmed in 2010, the original lineup reunited in 2016, releasing Laberinto (2019) and Revuelo (2021), both featuring new versions of earlier hits such as "Sin despertar" and "Escapar". In 2024, Gabriela Villalba rejoined the group, prompting the Revive tour and the release of new singles "Karma" and "Harakiri" in 2025, marking the first time both Nicole Natalino and Gabriela Villalba appeared together on a track.
