Although formed in 2012 in Derbyshire, English, the Struts' mixture of pop hooks, hard rock swagger, and larger-than-life showmanship owes more to the glory days of British glam than the present day. Vocalist Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliot, and drummer Gethin Davies released the Struts' debut album, Everybody Wants, in 2014. Heralded as rock & roll's newest poster children, they opened for icons like The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Guns N' Roses, and The Who throughout the subsequent four years, releasing three hit singles on the American alternative charts—including the Number 5 hit "Could Have Been Me"—along the way. They also found time to record a sophomore release, Young and Dangerous. Released in 2018, the album featured two versions of the Top 40 single "Body Talks," including a duet with the pop singer Kesha. The duets continued on 2020's Strange Days, which featured appearances by British icon Robbie Williams and Strokes bandmate Albert Hammond, Jr. The band returned in November 2023 with their fourth album Pretty Vicious, released via Big Machine. They offered fans a glimpse of the LP with first single "Too Good At Raising Hell."
