Rose Gray

Rose Gray is a UK pop singer-songwriter celebrated for her dynamic fusion of 1990s dance melodies and early 2000s indie-pop vocals. Born on 31 December 1996 in Muswell Hill, London, she was raised in Walthamstow, East London. From a young age, she was immersed in the arts, with both her mother and stepfather being actors. Her stepfather, in particular, encouraged her musical pursuits, leading her to develop a passion for singing and performance. Her musical journey began in her teens when she signed to a record label and penned over 100 songs. However, she chose to leave the label, unable to retain her original compositions. This period led her to explore London's vibrant nightlife, where she worked at the renowned club fabric. During this time, she gradually returned to music, releasing singles and writing for other artists. In 2019, she released her debut single, "Good Life," marking the start of her solo career. She followed this with the mixtape Dancing, Drinking, Talking, Thinking in 2021, which garnered critical acclaim and established her as a rising talent. In 2022, she signed with PIAS Recordings and released the EP Synchronicity, followed by Higher Than the Sun in 2023. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with notable artists and producers, including Sega Bodega, Uffie, and Alex Metric, all of whom appear on her debut dance-pop album Louder, Please, which was released in January 2025.
