Born Anne Peichert in Hénin-Beaumont (Pas-deCalais) on November 26, 1996, the young girl who lost her parents grew up in a blended family. In 2008, she entered a number of singing competitions, earning a place in the semi-finals of L'École des stars. Five years later, she reached the same level on The Voice, la plus belle voix. This rise to fame earned her a place in the film La Famille Bélier (2014), in which she sang songs by Michel Sardou. Three of the songs, including"Je vole" (No. 2), were best-sellers, and she went on to win the César for Best New Actress. The success of the unreleased track "Avenir" preceded a debut album, Chambre 12 (2015), which reached No. 1 in the charts and was certified gold on release, then double diamond. Highly anticipated at the time, the French variety revelation, who added a Victoire de la musique award to her list of honors, called on producer Dany Synthé and the pens of Benjamin Biolay, Vianney and Julien Doré for the follow-up, namely the new hit "On était beau" (No. 9) and the electro-pop-inspired album Louane (2017). Three years later, the album Joie de Vivre saw the participation of Damso for the first single "Donne-moi ton coeur", as well as Thérapie Taxi, Terrenoire and Sooking. Released in 2022, his fourth album Sentiments featured an international tour and the release of previously unreleased tracks and alternative versions on the bonus editions Sentiments Heureux and Sentiments Heureux (Nan J'déconne) the following year. In 2024, the track "La Pluie" is the first single from the album Solo, composed with her partner Florian Rossi aka P3gase and produced by Tristan Salvati. On March 15, 2025, the song chosen to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest, "Maman", was revealed live on stage at half-time of a rugby match in the Six Nations Tournament . It came in 7th place in the final of the competition in Basel on May 17, a week after the release of the compilation Tiens Mon Best Of.
