Jok'air

Melvin Félix Aka aka Jok'Air was born on September 23, 1991 in Paris. He got his start in rap by joining the group MZ, and gained access to recording studios thanks to his older brother, who generously financed the sessions. With the group, the rapper, who adopted the stage name Jok'Air, released two albums and six mixtapes, before going solo in 2017. The Big Daddy Jok EP inaugurates this new chapter, followed by two ambitious mixtapes, Je Suis Big Daddy and Jok'Pololo. Things take a serious turn in 2018 and 2019 with the back-to-back releases of Jok'Rambo and Jok'Travolta . With Jok'Travolta in 2019, Jok'Air invited artists such as Leto, Siboy, Hayce Lemsi, Al Kpote and S.Pri Noir to share the bill with him. 2020 was a rich year for the rapper, who released Jok'Chirac and VIe République in quick succession, buoyed by the single "Elles ont trop joué avec mon cœur". In 2023, he released the 18-track album Melvin de Paris, featuring contributions from artists such as Laylow, Dann, Linema, Damso, So La Lune, Kady and Soprano. Returning two years later with Les Jolies Filles Aiment Jok'Air (2025), which reached No. 4 in the charts, the rapper invited La Zowi, Dann and Genezio.
