Ahn Yeon-seok, known professionally as Yoo Yeon Seok, was born on April 11, 1984, in Seoul, South Korea. He made his acting debut in 2003 with a minor role in Oldboy. After taking time off to fulfill his military service and complete his studies in the Department of Film Arts at Sejong University, he returned to acting in 2008, gaining recognition through notable film roles in Re-encounter, Architecture 101, and popular dramas including Reply 1994, Dr. Romantic, and Mr. Sunshine. In addition to his acting career, Yoo Yeon Seok has also contributed to music projects. In 2013, he teamed up with Jung Woo and Son Ho-jun for the single "Only Feeling You" (너만을 느끼며), which reached number 8 on the Korean charts. He later collaborated with Cho Kyu-hyun on the duet "Happy Together" in 2023. In 2024, he released "Say My Name", a solo track that peaked at number 7 on the US World charts.
