Lía Kali

Lia Kali (born Julia Isern in Barcelona on July 25, 1997) is a Spanish singer-songwriter and rapper who grew out of the city’s jam-session circuit, folding soul, reggae, jazz, R&B, and rap into a voice-first style that’s as melodic as it is direct. After years of local-stage development and collaborations across Spain’s urban scene, she consolidated her breakthrough with her debut album Contra todo pronóstico (2023), a candid record shaped by personal and mental-health themes and bolstered by high-profile guests such as Nanpa Básico and SFDK. The album launched a touring chapter that pushed her from cult favorite to a national name, helped by major Spanish TV appearances that put her personality and songwriting in front of a broader audience. In 2024, she expanded her crossover reach through collaborations outside her immediate lane, including “Constelación” with Duki, while keeping her own singles run active. In 2025, she followed that momentum with her second album Kaelis (2025), a more scale-up statement that framed her as an arena-ready performer, and she also teamed with Kany García on “Huir,” linking her Barcelona-rooted writing to a wider Latin pop audience.
