Biografia

Born in Japan on January 20, 1993, J-pop artist Keina Suda began his music journey playing drums in a band in middle school. He switched to the guitar shortly after enrolling in the Kunitachi College of Music with the hopes of broadening his skillset and becoming a studio musician. Starting in 2013, he adopted the Balloon moniker and began producing music using the Vocaloid software, quickly gaining traction in the Nico Nico Douga video-sharing website with releases such as apartment (2015), Marble (2016), and corridor (2017), which contained his breakthrough single "Charles." Quote, his first album under the name Keina Suda, appeared in 2018 via the indie label U & R Records. After signing with the Warner Music Japan imprint Unborde in 2019, he made his major-label debut later that year with the EPs teeter and porte. "Moil," one of the tracks from porte, was used as the theme song for the film Ni no Kuni and would later make its way to Kenia Suda's full-length debut, Billow. Released in 2021, the album cracked the Top 10 of the Oricon charts and included several songs that were featured in films and anime series, including "Alba," "Veil," "Carol," and "Harudonari." Over the next few years, the singer-songwriter cemented his status as one of the most promising talents in the J-pop scene with singles such as "nekokaburi" (2022), "Kumowokou / Rakkaryusui" (2022), and "Darling," his first single of 2023.
