Johnny Manuel

Pop vocalist Johnny Manuel was born in Flint, Michigan, on January 4, 1985. A talented performer since childhood, he signed a record deal with Warner Bros under the name "Lil' Johnny" at 14 years old and toured with the best-selling boy band NSYNC as an opening act. Although his 2001 solo debut, I Got You, failed to turn Manuel into a commercial success, the singer found a global audience in the late 2010s, when he became a semi-finalist on the 2017 season of America's Got Talent. One year later, he joined the international pop group Equinox, whose members represented Bulgaria in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Bones," which became a Top 5 hit in Bulgaria. Two years later, he relocated to Australia and auditioned for the country's ninth season of The Voice. Celebrated for his elastic, emotional vocals, he finished the season as the show's runner-up.
