Jeremy Lemont Saunders, better known as 2 Pistols, was born on June 11, 1983, in Tarpon Springs, Florida. He grew up in a broken home and became involved in local crime during his teenage years, leading to an eight-month incarceration in 2005. Following this period, he shifted his focus towards music promotion and formed the group Blood Money Union. 2 Pistols' first notable success came with the self-released single "Dirty Foot", which he wrote while still in high school. The song gained local traction after being played at a dance club, leading to his debut performance. This experience solidified his decision to pursue a career in music. In 2007, Saunders signed a record deal with Universal Republic Records and released his debut single "She Got It" featuring T-Pain and Tay Dizm, which peaked at number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100. His debut studio album Death Before Dishonor was released in June 2008, featuring production from J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League and Da Honorable C.N.O.T.E., among others. The album reached number 32 on the Billboard 200 chart and number 10 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Notable tracks include "You Know Me" featuring Ray J, and "Lights Low". In February 2014, he released his second studio album Comin Back Hard through Stage One Music.
