Biografia

Born Holly Ffion Humberstone on 17 December 1999 in Grantham, Lincolnshire, England, Holly Humberstone is an award-winning UK pop singer-songwriter who first began pursuing music as a violinist for the Lincolnshire Youth Symphony Orchestra before getting noticed on her local BBC Music Introducing radio show. The next thing she knew she was performing on the BBC Music Introducing stage at Glastonbury Festival 2019 and made it official the following year with her debut single "Deep End," released in January 2020. Several other singles followed, including a cover of Radiohead's "Fake Plastic Trees," before she consolidated her glittering alt-pop sound on her debut EP, Falling Asleep at the Wheel, which was released in August 2020. After signing with Polydor Records in the UK and Darkroom/Interscope Records in the US, she unveiled her second EP and first major label offering, The Walls Are Way Too Thin, in November 2021. The following year, she scooped the Brit Award for Rising Star at the 2022 Brit Awards and went to number 39 in Scotland with the compilation album Can You Afford to Lose Me? Holly Humberstone's debut full-length, Paint My Bedroom Black, arrived in October 2023 and yielded three singles: "Antichrist," "Room Service" and "Superbloodmoon," which featured US singer and songwriter d4vd.
