The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, formed in 1947 as the Film Symphony Orchestra at Barrandov Film Studios, is a classical orchestra based in Prague, Czech Republic. Initially known as the Czech Symphony Orchestra, it faced issues with name unauthorized use until adopting its current name in 1992 following the Velvet Revolution.
