Biografia

Since the mid-1990s, this variable-geometry band, most often operating as a sextet around the immutable singer Dick Valentine, has distinguished itself with a fusion of rock metal and disco, spiced up with a wacky, even downright potty humor. After calling themselves The Wildbunch, Electric Six emerged from the shadows with "Danger! High Voltage", a single that reached number 2 in the UK charts in 2003. Other extracts from the album Fire (2003), such as "Gay Bar", were to earn them the label of a provocative party band, perfectly willing to embrace bad taste (like this parody of a Queen song in 2005). The albums Flashy (2008), KILL (2009), and Zodiac (2010) continue in the same vein, while the live recording Absolute Pleasure demonstrates Electric Six and their singer's stage skills. Further albums follow with a renewed line-up: Mustang (2013), Human Zoo (2014), the fan-funded self-released Mimicry & Memories and Bitch, Don't Let Me Die (2015).
