From journeys to encounters, L’éveilleur has certainly become one of the most original singer-songwriters of the turn of the millennium; his work is marked by its diversity, a reflection of the career of the creator.
Actor on the Rock scene in the early 90s with his group RÊVE & DESIR, he then favored work in the studio, alone or with visiting authors and musicians, to create multi-horizon songs: wise ballads, wild rock , and even shows for children… So many creations presented in the four corners of France.
He returned to the rock scene for a while as a trio with DIPHONIX from 2005 to 2008, then with the capsized duo ALTER & GUS and the jazzy quartet LULUBERLU.
In his new solo project L’ÉVEILLEUR, electronic sounds bring a real impact to the engaged texts supported by devastating refrains. A renewed music combining technology and acoustic instruments with sounds rich in emotions. Slam or rapped texts with accents of sincerity to challenge and react to the philosophical and environmental challenges of our current society.
Served by a generous voice asking only to share, the performances of L’ÉVEILLEUR, surprising with all the emotion they convey, are always warmly received. His refrains remain on everyone's lips.
The awakener performs solo, classical guitar, electro acoustic or electric in hand, accompanied by digital programming or in duet accompanied by a pianist, chorister and dancer: on stage, the compositions combine simplicity of vocal emotion and modernity of arrangements, touching universality through many tones inherited from world music.
Composition is its raison d'être; trying to achieve the transparency of his being through writing, he wants to make music his religion revealed in texts combining sensitivity and novelty.
