Biografie
American singer-songwriter and TV host Eric Nam was born on November 17, 1988, in Atlanta, Georgia. His journey began in the realms of business and international studies, having graduated from Boston College and later working at a consulting firm. However, his destiny took a sharp turn when one of the covers on his video-streaming channel gained massive traction online, landing him on South Korea's music competition show, Star Audition: Birth of a Great Star 2, where he made it to the Top 5. After signing with B2M Entertainment in 2012, Eric Nam made his official debut in 2013 with the EP Cloud 9 while simultaneously joining Arirang TV's After School Club as an MC. In 2014, his first digital single "Ooh Ooh" cracked the Top 10 of Billboard's World chart. Interview, his second extended play, arrived in 2016 and reached number 12 on South Korea's Circle Chart, followed by Honestly in 2018. Over the following years, collaborations with global artists like Loote, Steve James, and Armaan Malik showcased his intentions of branching out internationally. Eric Nam's immersion into global pop was solidified with his English albums, including Before We Begin (2019) and There and Back Again (2021), both of which entered the Top 40 in South Korea. The latter was promoted through an expansive world tour, spreading his music across several continents. Preceded by the single "Don't Leave Yet," Eric Nam's third English-language album House on a Hill dropped in 2023, accompanied by a cinematic short film.
