Reggaeton, Dancehall, R&B, Salsa, Mambo, Bachata, Trap, African rhythms… We have often heard Kaydy Cain saying that he started rapping in his neighborhood of Carabanchel because he didn’t know how to sing. Whilst at the beginning of this decade he edged into the public eye in two almost cult collectives Corredores de Bloque and PXXR GVNG to lay the foundations of the trap phenomenon that would explode in Spain a few years later, in private he was studying Héctor Lavoe, Ray Barretto and Ismael Rivera. From there, Kaydy Cain embarked on his own, holding down a strong social media presence and releasing a handful of his own popular mixtapes Whatever they serve him, and if they don’t serve him he helps himself, Kaydy always get what he wants in the urban self-service. In his extensive catalog (more than 300 songs), he has collaborated with artists as diverse as Maikel Delacalle, Dark Polo Gang, Yung Beef, Southside, Neo Pistea,... and producers like King DouDou, 808 Mafia, Cookin Soul, Steve Lean, Lowlight, Erancy Music, Kid Favelas or Feniko In this new stage, and after the release of his album Lo Mejor De Lo Peor, Kaydy Cain focuses on the latin sounds and dance beats that have influenced him since his childhood with special attention to Reggaeton and Salsa. With his eyes focused on the dancefloor, Kaydy Cain offers a journey through the dance styles of today with his urban and personal touch.
