Inspired by a lifetime experience as a citizen of Cali, Colombia, The Bongo Hop’s sound signature lies somewhere between the Afro-Latin/ caribbean and tropical soundscapes, more specifically influenced by Colombian champeta, colombia's Pacific coast music and of course salsa, jazz and afro beat. More than the sum of its parts, it's known for creating an unpredictable mesh of dance-floor friendly and highly danceable anthems throughout flawless collaborations : Paulo Flores (Angola), Nidia Gongora (Colombia), Kephny Eliacin & Moonlight Benjamin (Haiti), Lucas Santtana (Brazil), Greg Frite and Voilaaa (France), Souad Asla (Algeria) etc.
