After years of composing in the shadows for other artists, Dimitri gave life to Ourson in 2016, when he left Paris to settle in Montreal. Born from that personal journey, Ourson is a sonic universe where melodic electronic music meets cinematic emotion, an intimate soundtrack for the quiet, in-between moments of life.
Following a series of independent releases and a few unexpected collaborations, including one with renowned astrophysicist Hubert Reeves, Ourson signed with French label Beyond Records in 2024. He has since released two deeply personal EPs, Times I’ve Missed and Vast Unknown, each exploring themes of memory, distance, and emotional renewal.
Now, Ourson is crafting his most ambitious project yet: a debut album set for release in early 2026, followed by a series of live recordings that will capture the raw, vulnerable essence of his performances.
More than a musical project, Ourson is a heartfelt attempt to translate fleeting emotions into sound. Honest, atmospheric, and always a little nostalgic.
