I am a musician, composer and producer from Germany and my work is beyond common genre categories. Many of my compositions are neoclassical acoustic guitar instrumentals, but I am interested in many kinds of music. I studied classical guitar, jazz guitar and violin and I also gained diverse experiences in Middle Eastern and Latin American music. In my play and compositions, these different influences flow together to create a multi-colored and individual style. I am a soloist and part of several duos and ensembles and the artistic director of the transcultural bigband Transorient Orchestra. The sound of my music is enriched by using different types of guitars and violins: classical guitar, steel string guitar, requinto, 8-string guitar, 10-string guitar, archtop guitar, electric guitar, glissentar, bass guitar, 5-string violin, baritone violin.
