Tyler Shaw is a Canadian singer-songwriter and guitarist famed for his romantic pop songs. He is of Chinese and Polish descent and his father came from Hong Kong to live in Canada.
He won the MuchMusic Covers Contest in 2012 and then released his debut single 'Kiss Goodnight'. He followed this up with the single 'By My Side'. His first full album was 'Yesterday' in 2015, featuring the hits 'House of Cards' and 'Wicked'. He made his acting debut in the 2017 Canadian film 'The Meaning of Life'. Shaw's second album 'Intuition' came out in 2018 and he scored a massive hit with the single 'With You'. In the same year he also collaborated with Amaal Nuux on the single 'Anybody Out There'.
He has supported Shawn Mendes, Alessia Cara and Selena Gomez. In 2019 Shaw released the single 'To the Man Who Let Her Go'.
