Charlène Juarez is a french musician, singer and composer. She obtained a first prize for piano at the Conservatoire de Boulogne-Billancourt, as well as other prizes for musical analysis and harmony.
A girlhood that balances between hours spent with her instrument, contests, the discovery of recordings of the greatest masters of classical music on one hand, and attending rock concerts like Radiohead, Green Day and Red Hot Chili Peppers on the other hand. There’s a barrier between the two worlds that doesn’t mean much to her, she feels circumspect to the opinions of those who would like her to choose a camp. She composes with her soul, consciously choosing to leave the academic aside. She wants to only rely on her sensations and just let emotions emerge.
