Biografie
Gent is a German rapper of Kosovan-Albanian origin whose parents made a timely exit from their home town of Drenice prior to some of the most tumultuous times in Yugoslavia. The family relocated to Vahrenheide in Hanover and as they grew up in Germany both Gent and his younger brother MOZ began to develop independent careers in music.
In 2017 Gent began to build a following on social media and as an independent artist garnered over 800,000 YouTube views for his material. After signing to the Alpha Music Empire label in 2018 Gent began working on his debut album. The result was 'Kanun' which shortly after its release reached number 30 in the German charts and spawned the singles '100K', 'Ku Je' and 'Paramilitary'.
