FSDW was founded in mid-2018 by the two music producers Florian Süselbeck and Daniel Winter. After many years of successful work in various genres of electronic music, FSDW was originated as a project that combines electro house and pop with the influences of classics from different decades.
Beginning with various remix productions already the second release - a remix for "Komodo (Hard Nights)" by R.I.O. feat. U-Jean with the unmistakable melody from Mauro Picotto's world hit - made a splash and reached more than 3 million streams within its first year.
In the summer of 2019, the first single release called "Wknd" followed: a remake of the classic "Weekend" by Earth & Fire from 1979 in a modern and danceable sound style. FSDW again hit the nerve of the time, and the song was able to achieve five-digit streaming numbers per day in no time and stayed for weeks in the German Top 20 Viral Charts. In the meantime, “Wknd” has also reached about 3 million streams.
While the monthly audience at Spotify is steadily increasing and has now reached about 400,000 people, the two producers of FSDW are currently busy in the studio with various vocal artists working on follow-up productions.
