Doechii (previously known as Iamdoechii) is the stage name of American rapper Jaylah Ji'mya Hickmon, born on August 14, 1988, in Tampa, Florida. Her music career began in 2015 when she released her debut single "Girls" on her music streaming channel. Over the next few years, she issued her first project Coven Music Session, Vol. 1, followed by the self-funded EP Oh the Places You'll Go in 2020.
