Alan Gogoll is an Australian acoustic guitarist and composer, born beneath the expansive skies and natural beauty of Hobart, Tasmania. Alan has etched his name into the hearts of listeners and fans around the world with his music and playing.
Perhaps most known for the creation of his two handed harmonics technique aptly named ‘Bell Harmonics’, Alan performs all original compositions and features this technique on songs such as Mulberry Mouse, Bell’s Harmonic, Through the Leaves and Chime.
Alan was recently named Acoustic Guitarist of the Year by Guitar World and Guitar Player magazine in 2020, also placing first in several international guitar competitions during that time.
Stringscapes is one of Alan’s most successful video series where he films himself playing the guitar with a camera inside the instrument through which the strings can be seen vibrating against different landscapes.
