Biografie
Woods of Ypres were a Canadian blackened doom metal band formed in Windsor, Ontario in 2002. The band was led by multi-instrumentalist and frontman David Gold, who tragically passed away in December 2011, just before the release of the band's fifth and final album, 'Woods 5: Grey Skies & Electric Light'. The album went on to win the 2013 Juno Award for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year.
