Biografie

Saucy Santana is the stage name of American rapper Rashad Michael Harris, born on October 8, 1993, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He spent most of his childhood in Miami, where he started his career as a makeup artist for the hip-hop duo City Girls. Inspired by Southern hip-hop acts like Gucci Mane, Trina, and Tampa Tony, he got his start as a rapper in 2019 when he wrote the theme song for a podcast he created with a couple of friends. That year, he also unveiled his debut single "Walk 'Em Like a Dog" and issued the EP Dog Walkers. Following the release of his first studio album Imma Celebrity in early 2020, Saucy Santana jumped into the public eye through a series of appearances on the reality show Love & Hip Hop: Miami. Preceded by the singles "Up & Down" with Latto and "Back It Up" with LightSkinKeisha, the mixtape Pretty Little Gangsta came out in July 2020 and was followed by a second mixtape titled It's a Vibe six months later. The latter included the single "Walk," which earned him a co-sign by Nicki Minaj after going viral in 2021. "Material Girl," one of his singles from 2019, also enjoyed great popularity on the platform and caught the attention of Madonna, prompting a second co-sign as well as a joint performance during NYC Pride. His studio debut, Keep It Playa, appeared in 2021 and featured the City Girls collaborative single "Shisha." Saucy Santana's prolific streak continued in 2022 with the singles "Hello" featuring Tay Money, "Put Your Hands on My" featuring R3HAB, and "Booty" featuring Latto.
