Biografie
English rapper One Acen was born in Tottenham, London in 1991 and began his music career at the age of thirteen. As an unsigned artist he began to make a name for himself on the underground rap scene with tracks such as 'Hold Tight', 'Pattern' and 'Rolling'. He rose to prominence at a time when the London-based grime scene was gathering momentum and his work began to appeal to young audiences looking for a lighter alternative to grime's hardcore lyrical subject matter.
A collaboration titled 'Unsigned' with the popular young rapper Hardy Caprio has proved mutually beneficial for both artists and their videos garner millions of views on YouTube with both artists featuring on each other's material.
One Acen's musical style often utilises Afrobeat influences combined with elements of hip-hop and R&B and this has helped his work appeal to a wide musical audience.
