Eden were formed in Melbourne, Australia, by Sean Bowley, Pieter Bourke and Ross Healy in 1987. Their debut EP The Light Between Worlds was released in 1990 via Nightshift Records featuring "Shallow Mists". The single "Searching for Angels Hands" gained attention after appearing on music TV series Countdown Revolution. Eden's first full-length studio album, Gateway to the Mysteries, was released through Third Mind and Elysium Records via Shock Records in 1992. Pieter Bourke left following the release of Healingbow in 1993. New members joined for Fire & Rain. In 2015, Eden re-formed with Sean Bowley, Matthew Sigley, and Andrew Kutzer. Their album The Edge of Winter was released at Wave-Gotik-Treffen (WGT) in Leipzig, Germany in June 2017. In May 2020, they released the LP "East of the Stars" followed by European tours.
