Pronounced Saint Phoenix, Scottish rock duo Saint PHNX is composed of Wishaw-born vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Stevie Jukes and his brother, drummer Alan Jukes, who formed in 2016 and released their first couple of singles that year. Riff and drum-loaded "Reload" and subsequent offering "King" marked Saint PHNX out as purveyors of anthemic alt-rock with an indie-pop twist, and they stuck to a similar formula for their next run of singles in 2018, 2019, and 2020, including "Nunchuk" (2019) and "DDMN 1.1" (2020), taking in a few acoustic moments along the way. The sibling two-piece, who earned their stripes playing in bands in Glasgow, signed to Atlantic Records and released their first major-label single in 2021, the reflective indie-pop of "Happy Place," which was dedicated to their late father who passed away earlier that year. A Christmas single followed in December 2021, the alt-pop hymn, "Peace."
