Born in Genoa on February 22, 1994, Italian rapper Mario Molinari took the pseudonyms Incubo and Duate, before pursuing his career under the name Tedua. After growing up in foster care and with his grandmother in Milan, the teenager returned to his native region and took up rap with the group Wild Bandana and singers Vaz Tè, Izi and III Rave. In 2015, he released his first mixtape Aspettando Orange County, produced with Charlie Charles, Sick Luke and Chris Nolan, followed a year later by the second instalment Orange County Mixtape and in 2017 by the album Orange County California. Influenced by the drill trend in rap, which he integrates into his Italian trap, Tedua reaches a milestone with the release of his second album Mowgli (2018), ranked number one in sales in Italy. After a collaborative track with Fedez and Trippie Red ("Che Cazzo Ridi"), the Italian rapper was eagerly awaited in 2020, when two mixtapes were released within a week of each other, Vita Vera Mixtape, featuring collaborations from Capo Plaza, Rkomi, Ghali, Lazza and Emia, followed by Vita Vera Mixtape: Aspetando la Divina Commedia, with contributions from Massimo Pericolo, Shiva, Tony Effe, Gemitazi and MadMan. Both hit the top of the sales charts on release. The same is true of his 3rd album La Divina Commedia (2023), featuring a host of guests including Sfera Ebbasta, Guè, Geolier, Marracash, Tony Boy, Lazza, Salmo and singers Federica Abbate and Angelina Mango. Among the extracts listed are "Lo-Fi for U" (no. 9), "Red Light" (no. 6), "Parole Vuote (La Solitudine)" with Capo Plaza (no. 3) and "Beatrice" with Annalisa (no. 1).
