Nuns of the Tundra are a British alternative rock band originally formed in Malvern, now based in Bristol. Formed in 2017, the group consists of Troy Tittley (vocals/guitar), Daniel Goode (guitar), Mikey Long (bass), and Hugo Bowman (drums). Their music blends alternative rock, stoner rock, psychedelic rock, and hard rock, characterized by riff-heavy guitar work, melodic choruses, and energetic live performances. The band first gained attention through the “Worcester Wave” scene and was featured on BBC Introducing, earning praise for their intense live shows. They recorded their debut EP, The World’s Gone Crazy and So Have I, in 2021 at Kore Studios, which includes the streaming track “Low”. In 2024, they released the single “Solid Gold”, their first release following the passing of former bassist Tom Benson. Later that year, they followed up with “With Me”, described by the band as “a love song from a band that doesn’t do love songs.” These releases showcase the band’s blend of heavy riffing, melodic hooks, and desert/psychedelic rock influences. Nuns of the Tundra have performed at festivals such as Malvern Rocks, Lakefest, and The Great Escape Festival, and have supported acts like The Darkness. Singles followed in 2025, including “Losing Control” and “Half Here”, before the release of the eponymous debut album Nuns of the Tundra, ranked Number 3 in UK's Rock & Metal Albums Official chart.
