Bombs Away, an Australian electronic music duo consisting of Matthew and Thomas Coleman, was formed in 2010 on the Gold Coast. The brothers began their musical journey by releasing their debut single "Big Booty Bitches" which reached number 3 on the Beatport Electro Top 100 chart and garnered over 3 million views on YouTube. Their follow-up singles "Swagger" (released in early 2011) and "Super Soaker" (September 2011, certified platinum in 2012) further established their presence in the Australian music scene. In March 2012, Bombs Away released a collaboration with DJ Kronic titled "Looking for Some Girls", which peaked at number 7 on the ARIA Club Chart. Their single "Get Stoopid" (released late 2012) reached Number 1 on the ARIA Club Chart and was ranked number 27 in the Top 50 Club Tracks of 2012. The duo's breakthrough came with "Party Bass", released in 2012, which peaked at number 25 on the ARIA Charts and was certified platinum. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2013, "Party Bass" was nominated for ARIA Award for Song of the Year. In June 2018, Bombs Away released their debut studio album Fragments, which included singles such as "Like You", "Let You Down", and "Before We Had a Label". In July 2021, Matthew "Sketch" Coleman announced his departure from the duo to focus on event management.
