PLL, for Power Love Life, is a band from Reunion Island, a French department located in the Mascareignes archipelago in the Indian Ocean. Formed in Saint-Louis in 2014, it brings together Lil King, SG and Luidgi and tackles local and international musical genres such as maloya, dancehall, reggaeton, ragga and afrobeats. After a first French-language track released in 2016, "Mensonge", it was with the English-language "Move It", a collaboration with DJ Sebb, that PLL became known to a wider audience in 2017. Their musical blend, which the trio call "gommance", is reflected in "Ewe" (2018) and the tracks that precede the album 45°, released in 2020. On the return from the Covid-19 pandemic, PLL returned to the studio with "Ayo " in 2021, followed by "Jolie" or "Scandal", "Miroir" and "Mayamwin " in 2022. After the singles "Truc de ouf" and "Piloté " in 2023 came the album Phase II (2024), featuring singles such as "Maya", "A la mode" and "Shattiment", the group's biggest hit in the SNEP singles chart (no. 171) and the French Overseas Songs chart (no. 40). A remix of "Maya " featuring Kentin FcN was released in 2025.
