Alison's Halo, a rock music group from Tempe, Arizona, formed in October 1992 with vocalist/guitarist Catherine Cooper, guitarist Adam Cooper, and bassist Lynn Anderson. Their sound, distinguished by dreamy vocals and loud, spacey guitars, is often associated with shoegaze and dream pop. Their debut gig was at an old Odd Fellows hall with Jimmy Eat World opening. Alison’s Halo quickly secured opening slots for international touring acts like Ultra Vivid Scene and Curve, and performed at several music festivals including CMJ Music Marathon and South by Southwest. In 1995, they released their first single "Dozen" on Independent Project Records. The band's debut album Eyedazzler was released in 1998. After disbanding in the late 1990s, Alison’s Halo reactivated in 2009, releasing several digital compilations of old material via their website. In January 2016, the band's song "Dozen" was included on the Still in a Dream: A Story of Shoegaze 1988–1995 box set compilation released by Cherry Red Records. In 2017, an expanded reissue of Eyedazzler was released by Manufactured Recordings. Other singles released by the band include "Happy" (2025) and "So Far Away" (2025).
