Founded in South East London in 1999, The Dualers are a ska and reggae band formed by brothers Si and Tyber Cranstoun, who began their career by busking on the streets of Canterbury and Croydon with their own unique type on doo-wop, pop and ska. Starting their own record label, they released their first song “Kiss on the Lips” on October 30, 2004, which despite having no industry backing, reached number 21 on charts. In 2005, the duo released their second single “Truly Madly Deeply” enjoying similar chart success and featuring in the film Fools Gold. In 2010, Si Cranstoun left the duo to pursue a solo career and The Dualers expanded into a nine-piece ska band, self-releasing With Respect on November 19, 2011, before signing to Sunbeat Records, and releasing Back to Paradise (2014), Reggae Street (2015) and Reggae Street 2 (2017) as well as Make Some Noise Sing Along (2018). The following year, the band exploded onto the charts with feel-good Summer album Palm Trees And 80 Degrees, released on July 26, 2019, peaking at number 11, with the band playing to sell-out crowds across UK, Europe and Asia, including a show at Wembley Arena on May 2022, which featured Si Cranstoun as a special guest. On August 12, 2022, The Dualers released their highly anticipated album Voices from the Sun, reaching number 23 on the charts.
